Android 15 Beta 2 Introduces New Volume Menu Design
The second beta release of Android 15 has been launched with a variety of changes, including a new design for the volume control menu.
The volume control menu in the second beta release of Android 15 comes with an enhanced design.
These design changes do not include the scroll bar that appears when clicking on the volume level key.
The volume menu now reveals more options for controlling audio, different from the volume menu introduced in Android 10.
The design of the volume menu in the second beta release of Android 15 features a design closer to the “Material You” interface, with scroll bars in vibrant colors, offering the same functions.
The new design also includes “Live Caption” at the bottom of the page, along with a media output switch. Android system already supports switching audio output through quick settings, and the menu includes a scroll bar to adjust the volume.
There is also a button next to the “Media” slider that creates a summary of the menu at the bottom, with the selected state being retained when reopening the menu.
