Samsung Unveils New Galaxy S24 Ultra With Exynos 2400 Chipset
Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy S24 series on Wednesday, with the Vanilla Galaxy S24 and the larger Galaxy S24+ powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset in certain markets including Europe.
Features of the Samsung S24 Ultra Processor
Samsung has confirmed that the new chipset will bring a 1.7x increase in CPU performance and a 14.7x boost in AI processing compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2200. The graphics unit is the Xclipse 940, based on AMD’s RDNA 3 architecture, improving support for ray tracing, display, and reflections.
Samsung S24 Ultra Cameras
Samsung has not revealed technical specifications for the Ultra cameras, but based on information about the camera sensors and lenses, it is evident that they are equipped with advanced technology.
The phone’s camera has a 50-megapixel 5x zoom camera, with a 115mm f/3.4 lens, and is expected to contain a Sony IMX854 sensor. The comparison with Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max is also intriguing, as the Samsung S24 Ultra has a significantly larger sensor, while the iPhone has a brighter lens.
