Apple Releases iOS 17.5 with Enhanced Tracking Protection

Tech giant Apple has rolled out the latest version of its operating system, iOS 17.5, now available for download and installation on supported iPhone devices. This release comes with enhanced core system support for detecting unwanted tracking tools.

Developed in collaboration with Google, this means that Apple’s Find My networks and Google’s new Find My Device networks will work together to thwart unwanted tracking and surveillance attempts by alerting you if a tracking device not belonging to you is moving with you. These notifications will work regardless of the device’s operating system.
