Huawei Launches New SuperCharge Max 100W Charger in China
Huawei has released a new charger in China, called “Huawei SuperCharge Max 100W”. The accessory is now available on the company’s official website. However, the price has not been announced yet.
As the name suggests, the power adapter supports Huawei’s SuperCharge standard and is capable of delivering up to 100 watts of power.
Huawei is marketing this product as a versatile charger because it also supports other charging standards such as USB PD, PPS, Qualcomm QC, and UFCS.
The charger features a USB Type-A port as well as a USB Type-C port, but only one of them can be used at a time.
The power adapter comes with 12 layers of protection, including protection against short circuits, electromagnetic fields, overcurrent, overheating, voltage drop, static electricity, lightning strike, overvoltage, smart power response, connectivity, leakage, and insulation.
Huawei claims that this charger can charge the Nova 12 Pro’s 4600mAh battery to 60% in just 10 minutes.
Furthermore, 30 minutes of charging can raise the battery levels of Mate 60 Pro, Mate 60, Mate X5, and P60 Pro to 98%, 93%, 86%, and 97% respectively.
Finally, the accessory comes in a light pink color and weighs approximately 125 grams. It is unclear if it will be available in other colors.
