Microsoft launches Copilot App with New User Interface Update
Microsoft officially introduced the Copilot app for Android and iOS devices last month, after nearly a year of testing. The app has received a major update that adds a new user interface.
The update is being rolled out in waves and provides a more seamless and specially designed look to help users make the most of the AI-powered features of Copilot.
With over 5 billion conversations and 5 billion images created so far, Copilot has become one of the largest AI programs. Developed by Microsoft, the program allows users to go beyond creative images and now customize images created through direct in-app editing thanks to the Designer program.
While some Copilot features require a subscription, almost all of them have a free version that allows users to determine if they are worth paying for.
For example, Copilot Pro subscribers can also change the size of images and recreate them between square and horizontal without leaving the chat, in addition to customizing images using the Designer program.
Finally, Microsoft announced that it will soon introduce the new Designer GPT program within Copilot, providing users with a more immersive and customized space inside the AI chat program.
Copilot is available for free from Microsoft and works on Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. All the announced changes will be rolled out this week on iOS, Android, and web platforms.
